  • Overview

    The Client Engagement Specialist is an essential role to the success of our EnrollSMART solution.  He or she performs transactions and tasks essential to managing efficient insurance, benefit, and/or the EnrollSMART solution. The Client Engagement Specialist executes on RFP creation, carrier paperwork, keeping internal tools updated and more as it relates to our voluntary benefit strategy. He or she assists in keeping our client information up to date in our agency management system, facilitating a collaborative service experience and engaging in implementation calls with our clients, enrollment firm and carrier partners on an as needed basis. The Client Engagement Specialist works closely with the benefits team to answer questions, access and deploy resources and execute on key tasks associated with the EnrollSMART solution for our clients.

    Responsibilities

    EXECUTION OF CLIENT SERVICE

    • Coordinates client and vendor appointments
    • Supports Client Engagement Consultant (CEC) and other internal department members to flawlessly execute and track Assurance’s EnrollSMART strategy for each client, creating measurable value and efficiencies
    • Creates RFP support in relation to voluntary benefits (VB) carriers and/or enrollment firm partners, managing the completion of VB carrier paperwork for each EnrollSMART case
    • Gathers information and populates the implementation workbooks with missing and needed items after the implementation kick-off meeting
    • Builds personalized client relationships through demonstrated understanding of EnrollSMART, utilizing multiple channels of communication including phone, email and in-person meetings
    • Assists with weekly implementation calls, backing up the CEC as needed
    • Illustrates a strong understanding of voluntary benefit products, supporting the CEC analyze opportunities and recommendations for service teams
    • Manages time effectively, prioritizing workload including client service requests and service parameters on business processes
    • Supports CEC in evaluation of client coverage and terms and conditions of quotes from VB carriers, comparing quote options from multiple carriers and presenting coverage comparison as requested
    • Builds and maintains relationship with EnrollSMART partners, servicing as agency liaison as needed

     

    DATA PROCESS AND INTEGRITY

    • Follows EnrollSMART workflows consistently, appropriately engaging internal resources, such as process support, procedure manuals and reporting tools, ensuring efficiency and accuracy of execution
    • Maintains EPIC with EnrollSMART pertinent information, ensuring accuracy of data
    • Populates the prospect/client spreadsheet appropriately as a result of weekly status meetings with the CEC
    • Achieves desired levels of data completeness and process integrity, consistently meeting activity timelines, quality metrics and goals

     

    PEER RELATIONSHIPS

    • Provides feedback and shares information at team meetings
    • Participates in ongoing scheduled meetings with CEC to discuss accounts, renewals, service needs, service platform, etc.
    • Develops successful and effective working relationships with Producers, Account Executives, Account Managers, service team members, managers, carriers and members of other departments
    • Communicates effectively with CEC and Account Managers and provides timely and complete information to allow them to effectively manage service execution

     

     

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Upon hire, Producers License for Life/Health, as appropriate for role
    • Ability to travel (local and long-distance) for client meetings, as needed

     

    PREFERRED:

    • BS/BA in Business, Insurance or related field
    • 2+ years working with Voluntary Benefits or in the Voluntary Benefits industry
    • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite
